umm I havent blogged in a month which is not good so im sorry.
but RIGHT now as it is getting closer and closer im EXTREMELY nervous!!
Ive been studying soo hard and I still feel like....I dont know enough.
I found out that I leave Semptember 3RD at 9:30 P.M from New York....im so stolked!!
It feels like its not even real...kind of like im dreaming.
....I still dont know who my host family is......which is something that I want to know REALLY bad!


OH YEAH.
August 11th I have my visa appointment at the French consulate in Houston,TX.....WOO!!!

HELLO TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO READ MY BLOGS!!


today I went to my first work out class.......and it was a step class.
which mean........I was dying!!!
I was in a room with people that are older than me and I was surprisingly the only one in the room that was having a hard time with all of it! :(
As I took a break and watched them they had SOOOO MUCH ENERGY!!
They were like a whole bunch of energizer bunnies in one room!!!
I wish I had the mental strength to go through all of that!
maybe next week will be easier.
but for now I'll just go in the work out room and work out at my own pace and do my own work outs!



also today in French we watched a video on French Cuisine and It made me drool and everybody in the class was just sitting there staring at me while i was in LALA land
so I publicly embarrassed myself!

TODAY I'm going to tell you about my weekend!

On Friday I woke up at 5:00 a.m and left for Arkansas at 7:00 a.m
So as I was riding on the charter bus,my seat laid back,zoned out and listening to my music.....a bag of M&M bite size cookies comes flying at my head from across the bus...I wasn't quick enough to doge it so it hit me in the MIDDLE of my forehead.
THEN about 30 minutes later as I was leaning over the seat and talking to someone the bathroom door comes open and hits the right side of my face.
hahaha but we eventually got there and my first event was Bible reading......and I got EXTREMELY nervous.I made some new friends though and I the Gold!!

On Saturday I woke up at 5:30 after going to bed at 2:00

my first event for the day was puppets....and considering I'm short and the bar you have to put your puppet over is tall I think the people in the audience could barely see my puppet but everyone said we did fantastic!! My team ended up getting a Gold and an award.

2nd event was Large Chorus and my 3rd event was Small Chorus
I think we did FANTASTIC!! Our ratings for that event haven't came in yet so I don't know what place we got but we got compliments from everyone in the room.

my last event of the day was beautiful
and I was relaxed until I looked in the crowed and there was this girl just giving me the most angry stare I think Ive ever seen in my life!!So I forgot my words for a moment and winged it for a second till I could remember the words.After 30 seconds I remembered my lines and said them .No one could even tell that I had forgotten my lines!! We ended up getting a GOLD!

I also got gold on photography,bulletin board,and scrapbook
After all this I had a couple hours to chill out and find random people to make friends with.Which means ELEVATOR RIDING time!!!
While I was on the elevator I met tons of people!!
That eventually had to come to an end and I had to go home. :(
We left and arrived back home at 2:00 in the morning!!
and I had to wake up for church today at 6:00.
I am VERY tired!!!!

Yesterday in French class we finished watching the Scarlet Pimpernel......and I thought it was quite good!!
today I had Taco Bell which wasnt very good on my tummy considering im sick.
Tomorrow I am going to Arkansas for a convention where I compete in random event with my church.
And im still fundraising!!!!
So those are some of the events I have done recently and things that im going to do!

so the last post that I posted....I said I was EXCEPTED into France when I actually meant that I was ACCEPTED into France. (actually I was almost "EXcepted by AFS France, but they decided to take a chance on me.)
Im very sorry for that spelling that incorrectly.

but today in class after I finished my homework...I was pondering on how I felt about leaving my family,and my very close friends. The answer to that would be im SCARED SENSELESS!!
I am also probably the most EXCITED child in the UNIVERSE!!

Ok!! now since I got accepted...I now have to fundraise and since the economy is down money is hard to come by for some people...Im still going to need YOUR help!
